And while there are unimaginable struggles for the pair, the access to hospital visitation was never one of them. James Joseph Parsons was born on March 24, 1973, in Houston, Texas. And to see what life can be like when you are able to have somebody at your side without the hurdles to get there. And I do think that one of the richest part of this was getting to show, in this case two men and as a gay couple, going through those situations.
I do think that everything you’re saying is the reason the story resonated with me to begin with so powerfully. I asked Parsons about bringing this to life on screen, where he shared: After all, this is is a privilege that countless queer couples haven’t been given over the years.
